Ballet Roseraie
(K – Adult)
At CSPAC, Ballet Roseraie is where classical ballet is celebrated with grace and elegance, offering a space where students can grow as artists in a warm and relaxed environment. This program is ideal for students who want to experience the tradition and discipline of ballet while building strong technique in a supportive, non-competitive setting. Whether your child is new to ballet or looking to refine their skills, Ballet Roseraie offers a welcoming place for all ages and skill levels.
What is Ballet Roseraie?
Ballet Roseraie, meaning "Rose Garden" in French, offers a traditional ballet school experience where each student is treated with respect and care. Our program is based on the principles of classical ballet and nurtures both technical skill and artistic expression. We focus on building strong, precise technique while fostering a love for dance, a deep sense of artistry, and a confidence that extends beyond the studio. Ballet Roseraie is for students who seek a strong ballet foundation in a non-competitive, warm setting.
Class Structure
The Ballet Roseraie program follows a structure similar to our competition program, with divisions for K–12 students. Each age group is given specific techniques and curriculum tailored to their developmental needs, ensuring that dancers receive the most appropriate training for their age and skill level.
K–2nd grade: A beginner level designed for younger dancers to introduce them to the foundations of ballet. Classes will focus on basic positions, coordination, and building a love for dance.
3rd–5th grade: For early elementary students, this level will focus on developing technical skills, posture, and flexibility, with more complex movements being introduced.
6th–8th grade: For middle school dancers, this level will continue to build on previous skills, focusing on refining technique and strength while also introducing more advanced ballet combinations.
9th–12th grade: High school students will hone their skills, with advanced technique, performance artistry, and ballet choreography emphasized to prepare for auditions, performances, and professional opportunities.
Performance Opportunities
Though participation in the annual recital is encouraged, it is not required for Ballet Roseraie students. For those who choose to participate, the recital provides a beautiful opportunity to showcase their growth and gain valuable performance experience.
In addition to the recital, Ballet Roseraie students have access to a variety of performance opportunities throughout the year, including specialized recitals and performances in collaboration with our community partners. These opportunities are designed to help dancers build stage presence, confidence, and performance skills.
